CTS-BG01 High-power Ultrasonic Pulser-receiver

The CTS-BG01 high-power Ultrasonic pulser-receiver is specially designed for low-frequency ultrasonic testing. It is an ideal solution for the research on low-frequency UT and it has some customizable critical configurations according to customers’demands.

Product Intro

The high-power ultrasonic pulser-receiver portfolio launched by our company is designed for the NDE and NDT of materials, especially for highly attenuative and highly scattering materials, such as concrete, rubber, wood, synthetic materials. Besides it is suitable for air coupling, EMAT and Nonlinear Ultrasonic Testing. In the inspection of composite materials and parts with limited contact areas,the modularization design ensures the reproducibility by generating super-short RF pulses (as short as a single cycle); it also has 10 kilowatt power so as to drive the low-power transducers.

Scope

This pulser-receiver comes standard with the UT PC, transmitter, tailored UT wheel probe, pre-amplifier and industrial computer, etc.

1. Wheel Probe

The ultrasonic pulser-receiver is mounted to the wheel probe, which allows the transmitting and receiving of the ultrasound. Elastic tire material has the same acoustic impedance with water, ensuring the pioneering penetrating capability. Various wheel probes and low-frequency probes are customizable according to customers’demands.

2. UT PC

The UT PC is formed by multi-unit Ultrasonic Flaw Detectors. Our company provides the CTS-XXUT Multi-channels ultrasonic detector to use as the UT PC for development of inspection system.

3. Pre-amplifier

The preamplifier amplifies and process the weak signal received by the wheel probe, reinforcing the signal-transmitting ability and removing noises.

4. Transmitting module

The transmitting module is built to provide high voltage and high-power signal so as to trigger the wheel probe, enhancing the transmitting energy of the wheel probes.
